The eLumen Story
The founders of the eLumen Collaborative are former academic administrators who have joined together with a technology partner to offer innovative yet practical solutions to colleges and universities that want a better way to assess and improve student learning outcomes. elumen Collaborative was founded in 2003, and has become a national leader in software and services in higher education assessment, accountability, and learning outcomes.
Who We Are
David A. Shupe received his PhD from Syracuse University and served as System Director for Academic Accountability at Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU). Dr. Shupe has also served as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Development at Inver Hills Community College and Program Director at the University of Minnesota.
Jennifer P. Lundblad has more than 20 years experience in higher education and health care, at Tufts University, the University of Minnesota, and Stratis Health. She has an MBA in public and non-profit management from Boston University, and a PhD in Education from the University of Minnesota.
Laura L. Lewis has an MLS degree from the University of Minnesota and is President of Grand Development Consulting.
In addition to the three founding partners, eLumen offers the skill and expertise of a cadre of academic experts who reflect both the faculty and administrative perspectives necessary to assist colleges and universities to successfully assess and improve student learning outcomes.
Our Technology Partner
Bluefin Technology, Inc. is the technology services provider for eLumen Collaborative, and also provides custom web application development services to meet business needs in a variety of sectors, including retail, education, and non-profit organizations.
