Student-level outcomes transcript

A student's outcomes transcript shows a student's achievement in two distinct areas: within his or her major or program, and over the breadth of all courses and activities. Outcomes are linked with the data used for their calculation and are measured on a five-level scale: strength, ability, progress, weakness, or no evidence.

The group-level outcomes transcript allows institutions, faculty and student-services personnel to view the progress of any designated group of students. On the same five-level scale, institutions can quickly view the achievements of any group of students, for one or more designated outcomes.

You can track learning instead of grades.

A student's transcript can now display actual learning outcomes—and compare them to the set of expected learning outcomes for their degree or institution. More precise and informative than grades, the new eLumen® Student Learning Outcomes Transcript is available on a student level, or for a group of students.

Your institution will clearly demonstrate your students' academic results.

The eLumen® Outcomes Transcript is a strong, yet flexible tool for calibrating and measuring academic results. By measuring actual student performance against expected student outcomes, the system performs like an integrated thermostat and thermometer within the institution. Faculty use eLumen as a thermostat when defining the expected learning outcomes to be measured. As the students progress in their learning, eLumen® becomes the thermometer that gauges real progress toward the expected learning outcomes.
